About Me

Jessica: Creative Subjects have always fascinated me. My strength is in creating pieces of Art that have a textile influence. I studied Art and Textile Design at Bath Spa University and in 2013 I achieved an MA in Design: Textiles. I believe “Drawing is touching at a distance.” A drawing captures the essence of what can’t be touched or fully seen by the viewer at one given moment. I draw to document my surroundings. I am a Textile Artist and I make work so that it can be displayed and seen in galleries. I use a combination of drawing, print and stitch. I continue to learn and teach myself new ways of drawing in Textiles.
